UWYO NJTL IS BACK FOR 2016!

Sessions will run this semester every Wednesday 4:00 – 5:30 pm

at the UW Indoor Tennis Facility on Armory Road.

What is NJTL? The Alpine Tennis Association (ATA) in collaboration with USTA WY started a National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) chapter at the University of Wyoming in 2014.  NJTL was started in 1969 by tennis legend Arthur Ashe and is a program that incorporates tennis, education, and life skills to make youth successful both on and off the court.

There is no cost, but all youth must participate in the tennis and non-tennis activities.

Our general schedule will be 30-45 minutes of STEAM activity in the lobby and 45-60 minutes of tennis skills and games. We will provide all materials, and QuickStart equipment for 10 and under. Older and more advanced players should bring their own racket if they have one.

Come dressed to play tennis and bring a water bottle.

PARENTS MUST COME INTO THE BUILDING AND SIGN WAIVER AT FIRST ATTENDANCE.

DATES: Wednesdays           February 3, 10, 17, 24

March 2, 9, 23, 30 (no session over Spring Break)

                                              April 6, 13
